Throughout the history of the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" a number of film adaptions have been made. However most famously was the 1962 adaption by Robert Mulligan. This particular film adaption was a roaring success scoring 3 oscars.

Differences From the Novel

  • One major difference from the film and novel was the absence of Aunt Alexandra. She played a somewhat vital role in the book and has a complete absence from the movie.
  • Mrs Dubose was somewhat limited in the film. In the book she has an important role, she is used as a platform to explain real courage.
